MR 5.F Analysis on Final Things

In this lecture video, the main focus of the video was the Last Things. There were 4 Last Things that were discussed in the video. These 4 Last Things are Judgment, Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. There are two different types of judgments discussed in the video. First, there is the Final Judgement when Christ will come in glory to judge the living and the dead. Also, there is the Particular Judgement when each soul is judged immediately at the end of the individual's life. At this moment, it is decided where you will go; Heaven or Hell. You go to Hell if you die with constant rejection of God and His salvation. However, you go to Heaven if you die with the acceptance and worship of God. The ultimate goal of life is Heaven. Heaven is eternal happiness because God is happiness. Heaven is God, the angels, and all the other human beings in union with Him in eternal happiness. The Beatific vision is present in Heaven where there is the face-to-face glory of God. In Purgatory, we are in a special condition or state. Purgatory is a mental state rather than an actual place. While we are in Purgatory, we will be freed of every attachment to sin during our lifetime. We are relieved of some pain knowing that we will eventually be cleansed to go into Heaven. It is temporary separation from God where Hell is eternal separation from God, who is happiness. We go to Hell when an individual dies with constant rejection of God and His Salvation. Along with that, we can go to Hell if we die with mortal sins on our soul without repenting or receiving Penance. All of these things are the Last Things that we find in our textbook.

MR.5 F Problem Solving

The Person would go to purgatory and wait to be judges and pray that his change in the end of his life would lean him toward heaven. If God judges him and lets him go to heaven he would go to heaven and live out the rest in Heaven. His other option would be to b e judges unworthy for heaven and be sent to Hell, which is not as good as going to Heaven.

MR 5.F Last things lecture analysis

In the lecture video I learned the distinctions between Heaven, Hell and purgatory. I learned how one would choose to enter each of these states. To enter into the state of Hell you must die with mortal sin on your soul. To enter the state of Purgatory you die with sins but wish for redeption, you must be purged of your sins before joining God in heaven. To enter the state of heaven you must die without sin and wish to be joined wit God in heaven. I also learned that Heaven, Hell and purgatory are not places but states of the soul.

MR 5.E Analysis on Sanctifying Church

In this Idea Sketch, I discussed the importance of the Seven Sacraments. I first named the sacraments and described the general dialogue involved for each. Then, I talked about the deeper importance of each sacrament. Through this Idea Sketch, it is easy for someone to clearly see the difference between each sacrament. It helps somone learn what is accomplished through each sacrament.

MR 5.E Analysis on the Magisterium and the Apostles

This analysis connects the magisterium and the apostles. We connect how the apostles formed the magisterium by following Christ's mission told to them the new testament. Jesus gave the mission to the apostles and allowed them spread. It also shows how the factual knowledge gained from the chapter and lecture fit together. It also tells how the sacraments were formed amd how they were goven by Jesus.

We use Educreations to make an analysis on Apostolic succession and preventing heresies. This analysis was created by Conor Healey, Anthony Okelberry, and I. We broke apart how we can prevent heresies. We do this by showing how we can avoid there false teachings and ideas. These heresies overall are prevented by Apostolic Succession with their immense power. We show the deeper connections on how to prevent this.

MR 5.D Analysis on Marks of the Church

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/educreations-interactive-whiteboard/id478617061?ls=1&mt=8

In this Educreation, we answer the focus question "If Christ created a Church, and there are 20,000 Christian Churches teaching different things, how do we know which one is Christ’s?" We answer this question with support from the 4 Marks of the Church. We take each Mark of the Church and analyze it. Then, we relate it back to the question. By descrbing the Marks of the Church, we eliminate the other false churches to find the true one that meets all 4 Marks of the Church.

MR.5 B Analysis on Kingdom of God

This blog shows how all these things link together. Without the explaination of how these things link together you will not know how they relate. With the connection pf these items then we can further understand the Kingdom of God. With a further understanding of God we can gain our place in the Kingdom of heaven.

MR 5.C Mystical Body of Christ

My Project is an Idea Sketch connecting points form the video having to do with the Feast of Christ. We made all the Main points of the Video the main part right down the middle. Branching off of the main parts are subtopics that we went over. The Idea-sketch is like a tree with the main being the main ideas and the branches are the subtopics.

MR 5.C Mystical Body of Christ

This Idea Sketch goes way beyond just the normal understanding of the section. We state the basic idea, but then we go in depth to find the truth behind the idea. It goes past the basics to learn and understand what it really means. We connect the deeper implications and connect how each term and idea is related. We break apart each component to connect the feast example to the Kingdom of God.

MR.5C Analysis

This analysis shows how we have to not only believe in God's grace but we must also act on our beliefs to ensure that we act and believe so that we can receive God's grace and salvation.

MR.5 Kingdom of God

MR 5.B Notes on Kingdom of God

God created man to partake in his Divine Life

Man rejected it
God sought out man to reconcile him and restore him to what he was created for

The Son brought redemption by his Paschal Mystery and preached of the kingdom of God

He instituted a New covenant, with a new Covenant in a New Passover and New Paschal Lamb

The New Chosen People, New Priesthood in this new covenant he established and called the Church, with peter as the Rock

He formed the Apostles and taught them about the Kingdom of God, preparing them for the reception of the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifying grace God created us to participate in.

It is in the church, established by Christ, that the Holy Spirit and sanctifying grace is received for our transformations and salvation

The Old Paschal lamb was just a lamb, and it was slaughtered to save the hebrews from the angel of Death

The Lamb was slaughtered during the passover

Jesus is the new lamb

The old chosen people was the Israelites

is Priest is a man who is the middle man in the middle of God and Man

Church means chosen people, assembly of Gods people

within the church one receive what one needs, which is grace.

WHAT IS GOD'S PLAN FOR MAN?¿?¿?

Gods Plan for man

Share in his divine nature
Inaugurated by creation/salvation history
reached fullness with Christ and his Church
Will be fulfilled at end time
when all who cooperated with grace are gathered together in the universal Church

Redemption is like breaking down the wall, making the guards of the camp you are being kept in disappearing, you are now free

Man has a share in divine life through
 A. The Incarnation
 B. Graces of the Redemption

Ex: Apostles receive the grace of the Holy Spirit after "i believe"
I believe is a necessary requirement, but it is not the source of grace or means by which we receive it
Mediayed through the Church Christ founded

 A. Ex: Baptism, Nicodemus, Good baptize Peter
 B. Who is given the commission by Christ? Apostles

Church is the New assembly of gods people, deemed by christ, and is the instrument of this redemption.

Ekklesia - Those called out

Qahal - Chosen people

Successors of the chosen people of the Old Covenant

The role of the church is to bring objective redemption to each subject. to each person.
That baptism example again
Without peter and the Apostles, what would happen when Christ ascended

Christ is the King and he brings about the Kingdom of Heaven

Bold claim - the kingdom of heaven on earth subsists in the Catholic Church

What is the Kingdom of God

Christ
Christ acting in the hearts of men
Mankind in communion with the bless Trinity

MR 5.A Analysis on the Pentecost

Big Picture: Without baptism, we cannot participate in the grace that
comes from the resurection. While water is the most common physical
meidum of baptism,  any baptism, wether by water or not, is official
and essential to our spiritual journey. Almost all holy actions that
disciples everywhere perform, could be considered a baptism if they do
not recieve a physical one. In the first chapter we encountered
origional sin, and through baptism the stain of which is removed.
through the baptism we send out satan, and enter God's kinngdom set up
in the Old Testament covanents covered In chapter two. In chapter
three jesus set an example for us to follow one of which was baptism.
Christ saved us by sanctifying the practice of baptism as we learned
in chapter four. In chapter five we realize that through baptism we
become one leap closer to christ.

This analysis is not just the restatments of facts. This analysis takes into account the nesscessity of baptism and how it effects ecerything. It also connects the batism to the chapters in the course we are on. This matters because of how impotant baptism is.

MR 5.A Analysis on Pentecost

In this Idea Sketch, we take apart the main points of the Pentecost. At first, we briefly explain the whole event. Then, we take each little part and break it down enough to teach the person the basics, along with deeper analysis. We state the importance and purpose for each part of the Pentecost. We describe the missions established by the Pentecost. Along with that, we describe the deeper implications and how Jesus establishes God's new kingdom with his specific 12 Apostles.

MR 5.A Analysis on Pentecost

Sanctifying Grace is the grace that helps you over all holiness and helps you on your way to Heaven. Sanctifying Grace stays in you soul and leads you the right way. Actual grace are not smaller things that help you through you day. They do not stay in your soul but help you stay holy and on the right path for the day. Although Sanctifying graces helps on your path to heaven, Actual grace is just as important, becuase actual graces leads Sanctifying grace, which is still with your soul after you die. This relates to what we are learning becuase in the Pentacost they apostles reserved Sanctifying Grace and even actual grave to help them throught the troubles to come.

This is more then just opinion becuase or a bunch of Facts put together. I read the section in depth and and anylised what I read. I asked questions when I wasnt sure to clarify so that i could analyze even better. The used my understanding of what we are learning to connect what i analyzed from the reading to what we having been going over in class. Finnaly this is a analysis is becuase i am not rewording what I read, I am writing down what in means, analyzing one could say, the section.
